Game Pass October Wave 2: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Leads, and Deep Rock Galactic Leaves Oct. 31

Xbox Wire’s October Wave 2 post went up Oct. 20, and the @XBOXGamePass account shared it the same day. It covers nine additions through Nov. 3, an ESO update, two in-game perks, and 11 games leaving soon. Some of these, including Mouthwashing and Scramble Knights Online, were in our weekly roundup. This piece adds what that one didn’t cover: which tier gets each game and the full list of departures.

Coming to Game Pass

Date	Game	Platforms	Tiers
Oct. 21	Sandustry (Game Preview)	PC	Now in Premium; was already in Ultimate and PC Game Pass

Oct. 29	Terrible Lizards, day one	Cloud, Series X/S, PC	Ultimate, PC Game Pass
Nov. 3	Pit of Goblin	Cloud, Series X/S, PC	Ultimate, Premium, PC Game Pass

The big one is Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. It’s coming to Premium as well as Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Mouthwashing was added to the post later the same day, after the ID@Xbox showcase announced it. It’s the only game on the list labeled “Handheld,” which Xbox says marks games optimized for handheld play. Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted is described as part of EA Play.

Tier note: Scramble Knights Online, Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted and Terrible Lizards are listed only for Ultimate and PC Game Pass, not Premium.

Updates and perks

• The Elder Scrolls Online: Season 2 Update, “Echoes of Skyrim” (Oct. 21): adds Western Skyrim, two solo dungeons, and the Season Two Tamriel Tome, available until Jan. 27.
• The Finals Welcome Pack (available now): 500 Multibucks, a 25% bonus XP boost and the “Pretty Hostile” set. It’s for Ultimate, Premium, Essential and PC Game Pass, and only while the current season lasts.
• World of Tanks Modern Armor XP Stock (Nov. 3): 20 each of Enhanced Repair Kits, Enhanced Med Kits and Automatic Fire Suppressors. Same four tiers.

Leaving Oct. 31

All nine are on Cloud, Console and PC: Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Dead Static Drive, Deep Rock Galactic, Full Throttle Remastered, Grim Fandango Remastered, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Wartales and Wildgate. Xbox says subscribers can buy these at a discount before they leave. It didn’t list the prices.

Leaving Nov. 10: Football Manager 26 (PC) and Football Manager 26 – Console Edition.

For Steam Deck players

This only matters if you’d rather own a game on Steam than keep playing it through Game Pass. These are Valve’s current Deck ratings for some of the games on this list:

• Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade: Verified
• Mouthwashing: Verified
• LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga: Verified
• Wartales: Verified
• Deep Rock Galactic: Playable
• Grim Fandango Remastered: Playable

Game Pass copies don’t carry over to Steam.

Opinion: Getting FF7 Remake Intergrade into Premium is the most valuable part of this wave. The Oct. 31 list is the bigger loss, though. Deep Rock Galactic and three Double Fine/LucasArts remasters are leaving at the same time.
