Pokémon Unite is shutting down on March 23, 2027

Aeos gem and Unite Club sales have already stopped, but a free Unite Coin event, a Library archive mode and one last Aeos Crown tournament are still coming.

Pokémon Unite, the free-to-play Pokémon MOBA from The Pokémon Company and TiMi Studios, will end service on March 23, 2027, according to Pocket Tactics. The game launched on Nintendo Switch in July 2021 and later came to mobile.

What changes now

As of October 27, 2026, players can no longer buy Aeos gems or new Unite Club memberships, and existing memberships won’t auto-renew.

What’s still coming

  • Unite Coin event (November 12, 2026): a special event adds a Unite Coin exchange for previously available Holowear and Unite licenses without spending real money, plus login rewards and Unite Coin missions.
  • Library: a new feature will let players look back at their collections, tournament results and achievements after end of service, so the app can stay installed as a kind of personal archive.
  • Aeos Crown 2027 Tokyo: the previously planned tournament still goes ahead just days before shutdown, with qualifiers starting in December.

The Pokémon Company has also said it’s “working on a way to look back at special memories you created with your Pokémon,” with no details yet.
