Original Xbox Achievements Are Showing Up Early on Xbox Consoles

Players spotted achievement lists for Destroy All Humans!, Full Spectrum Warrior and more, all showing 0/0. Xbox hasn't announced the rollout, and Jason Ronald says they won't unlock retroactively.

Achievements for some original Xbox games are appearing on Xbox Series X|S players’ profiles before Microsoft has announced their rollout, Windows Central reports.

Microsoft announced in July 2026, via Xbox Wire, that original Xbox games would get achievements on modern consoles and PC. What hasn’t been announced is these particular games going live.

What’s been spotted

Photos shared by X users @xgramiliki and @PiquenoLoredo (via @CentralXBOX_) show achievement entries for:

  • Destroy All Humans!
  • Full Spectrum Warrior
  • Star Wars: Republic Commando
  • Panzer Dragoon Orta
  • KOF: Neowave

Each shows “0/0” achievements and no Gamerscore, which suggests the lists went up before they were ready. Windows Central speculates they may be pulled and restored later.

Not retroactive

Windows Central notes that Xbox VP Jason Ronald has confirmed OG Xbox achievements won’t unlock retroactively, so you’ll need to play the games again to earn them.

Our take

A 0/0 listing is a placeholder, not a launch. Until Xbox confirms dates and the game list, treat this as a sign that the July promise is getting close.
