NBA 2K27 Arcade Edition is available today (November 5, 2026) exclusively on Apple Arcade for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV, 2K said in its Newsroom post. Arcade access means no ads and no in-app purchases as part of Apple’s subscription.

Developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K (Take-Two). ESRB rating: E for Everyone.

New on this Arcade Edition

Per 2K:

  • WNBA debut: all 15 WNBA teams and 180 active WNBA players in Quick Match and Blacktop (5v5 team play; 1v1 / 3v3 / 5v5 street).
  • Faster MyCAREER: MyPLAYER rookies start at 80 OVR; season story beats run through 12 strategic matchups toward the Playoffs.
  • Expanded Neighborhood: Center Terminal for events/quests/seasonal content; Gym for temporary weekly buffs (speed, acceleration, vertical, strength, stamina); Barbershop and Tattoo Studio for customization.
  • Other modes: The Association (GM/coach), NBA Eras (iconic dynasties from ’90s Bulls to today’s Warriors), multiplayer, NBA Quick Match, and Blacktop. Game Center supports play with friends.

Controllers

2K lists Xbox, PlayStation DualShock, DualSense, and MFi-compatible controllers as supported enhancements on Arcade devices.

Opinion: shipping the full WNBA set on day one of an Arcade Edition is the real headline—MyCAREER’s 80 OVR start just shortens the grind on a subscription tier.
