Delta 2.0 Emulator Turns the iPhone Duo Into a DS-Style Handheld and Adds Sega Genesis
Riley Testut's emulator adds pose-aware controller skins for Apple's foldable, Sega Genesis support, Pokémon DLC and a Liquid Glass redesign, and launches on the EU App Store for the first time.

Delta 2.0 is out. The update to Riley Testut’s game emulator for iPhone and iPad launched on October 22, according to The Verge and Delta’s own release notes.
Delta is an emulator, not an official Nintendo or Sega product. It doesn’t come with games, so you supply your own game files.
iPhone Duo support
Testut told The Verge that Delta 2.0 optimizes controller skins for “every pose in both portrait and landscape” on Apple’s foldable iPhone Duo, and that split-view multitasking still works. Folding the Duo puts an emulated DS game to sleep, the same way closing a real DS does.
Also new
- Sega Genesis support, with new skins modeled on the classic Genesis controller
- Pokémon DLC: custom in-game experiences such as event items and rare Pokémon for mainline Game Boy Advance Pokémon games. Testut says the community-made DLC was built without AI tools and the first pack is coming “soon.”
- Experimental: support for Epilogue’s GB and SN Operator cartridge readers, plus custom screen filters such as a CRT look
- A Liquid Glass redesign, animated controller skins (third-party skins supported), and new Recents and Favorites pages
Now on the EU App Store
The Verge says this is Delta’s first release on the EU App Store, alongside AltStore PAL. It also adds an optional “Become a Patron” in-app purchase.
